Yarg! and Yeah!

So... I bit the bullet yesterday and bought my first L lens. Approximately 11:37 p.m. I dropped a lot of money out of one account into someone else's hands in exchange for a piece of glass. Not just any piece of glass mind you, but amazing, lovely, great glass. Sharp, crisp, and sometimes creamy glass. (Uh... people call lenses glass, so glass = lens, lens = glass). Canon 35mm 1.4 L . Sadly I got an email today telling me it will be on backorder for about 2 weeks. Boooo!!! (I should have checked out the site a little better... it said it right on there).

In other news, I bought a Shoot Sac. The past few shoots that I have done I was quite annoyed that either my pockets werent big enough for the lenses or, if they were, it was no fun walking around with them in there. I have been a big fan of Jessica Claire (an amazing photographer out on the West Coast) who happened to make a bag to hold her lenses in when she was on a shoot. They are fantastic lil things that do exactly what I want. Today on Twitter (you can follow me at http://twitter.com/simonmcconico) Shoot Sac had an announcment that they were doing a sale on their product... so, naturally... I bought one. I'm excited!

(Now if it only had all those lenses included)
